Our journey started with a simple belief: everyone deserves help when they need it most. As human beings, we're inherently drawn to supporting one another, experiencing a shared joy known as the 'Helper's High.' This drive to care for others led to the creation of Thunai in 2023, in the aftermath of the devastating Michaung flood.

We saw families, children, and elderly people struggling to manage daily tasks, care for their loved ones, or even find assistance during tough times. This moment of crisis revealed the gaps in everyday support, especially for those who need it the most—whether it’s the elderly, young mothers, babies, people recovering from surgery, or individuals with disabilities.

Thunai was created with one purpose: to be a pillar of support for everyone. With a strong focus on Chennai, our platform connects people with trusted helpers, making it easy to request assistance, whether it's for a simple errand, a child's care, or specialized support for seniors and those recovering from illness or surgery.
